Host Presenter: Carver Community Cultural Center, Cassandra Parker-Nowicki, Executive Director
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Hotel: Thompson San Antonio – Riverwalk by Hyatt, 115 Lexington Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205
Hotel rate: $169 plus taxes. Note: The rate has been extended to the weekend days prior and one day after the meeting for those that want to squeeze in a little weekend R&R prior to our meeting.  Use this link for SWPAP rate.

Agenda (to date)
Sunday Night: There will be a Tony watch party with dinner with ballots and prizes. If you have a little something you would like to offer as a prize, please email Kass Prince

Monday: Members will meet at the Carver Cultural Center, 226 N. Hackberry, San Antonio, Texas 78202 (1.5 miles from hotel) for breakfast, lunch and sessions on Monday.  For those flying in, we will use Carver ‘s 15 passenger van and others that have cars for transportation between the hotel and the Carver Community Cultural Center.

Monday Evening: There will be a variety of dine-around SA options for meals that are within walking distance from the Thompson on the river.  The hotel does have a lovely roof top bar as well for post session/dinner libations. 

Tuesday Morning: Business meeting and sessions will be within walking distance or a very short drive from the Thompson.  The meeting will end at noon on Tuesday.

Professional Development
With Cassandra making use of her many SA connections, the Professional Development Committee is working on finalizing sessions. Potential topics so far are: innovative post COVID collaborations and partnerships, development/fundraising trends presented by foundation execs, a presentation from Lee Strickland (Performing Arts Houston) on their transition to a membership-based program, and more.  If your organization has or you know of a collaboration that should be featured or you have another thought about a topic, please email Kass Prince directly and she will share with the PD committee.  Once speakers are confirmed, a detailed schedule will be provided.
